Top Priority For Republicans: Cutting Federal Spending

Republicans : After a retreat for Republicans in the House of Representatives to set their ideas for the upcoming legislative session, new Speaker of the House John Boehner noted that the Democrats have been on a "job-destroying Spending Spree that has left us with nothing but historic Unemployment and the most Debt in U.S. History."

What might seem confusing to many Americans is that while Republicans have continued to stay on message, they have already created exemptions from their plan to reduce federal Spending, notes the New York Times.

That includes ignoring the facts of the Congressional Budget Office, which argues that repealing the Healthcare Reform law would cost tens of billions of dollars.

It's just one example of the two-faced ideas put forth by Boehner and others, who were swept into office after Democrats were unable to establish what they had done to minimize a historic Recession.

And as the afterglow from a Bipartisan mourning of the Tucson schooting wanes, expect the messaging to stay on point from Republicans, even if they have to Divorce it from reality.
