Quake rattles Indonesia's Sumatra


Indonesia : Published: Dec. 21, 2010 at 11:09 AM Jakarta, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- A magnitude 6.2 Earthquake rattled parts of Indonesia Tuesday but did not trigger any Tsunami warnings, seismologists said.

The Jakarta Globe said the shaking was felt in the Bantul district and Yogyakarta, sending many rattled residents into the streets and prompting the temporary Evacuation of schools.

The newspaper said Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency did not detect any tsunamis in the area but cautioned...
