Environmental Protection Agency: The Environmental Protection Agency is trying to limit Greenhouse Gases like Carbon Dioxide especially at the refineries and power stations along the Texas sea coast from Houston to Beaufort and beyond.
But by going so far as to take regulatory responsibility from the Texas state commission because of perceived laxness, the EPA may be writing its own death warrant.
Agency administrator Lisa Jackson (pictured) is taking on not just "Small Government" Texas, but Texas oil, according to the Austin American Statesman.
That would be all well and good, except that the Republicans are taking over the House of Representatives on January 5.
And they've already made noises about cutting EPA funding on Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
And the biggest Climate Change deniers? Texas Republicans. The EPA had to take a stand, but it may get gutted for doing so.
